United Rhode Island Block Club Announcements URIBC Meeting Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 3:00 pm Hosted by: 75 Rhode Island Attention: We need a president for our block club. At the April 16th meeting, we’re hoping to have interested people in order to elect our new president. Get involved and make a difference in our community. CANDIDATE NIGHT The United Block Clubs of Highland Park (hotline 313-438-0130) will host a school board candidate night on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 6:30pm. The event will take place at Berea St. Paul’s, 16241 Joslyn Rd. Reminder: Vote on Tuesday, May 3rd for the HP School Board SENATOR SCOTT LAUNCHES INSURANCE WEBSITE State Senator Martha G. Scott unveiled a new insurance website which will provide for a source of information sharing. The website which can be downloaded at www.insuranceredlining.com contains information on proposed legislation as well as a petition for Michigan residents to share their insurance story, among other useful links. Block club information is available on the web at hpfolks.com. The URIBC meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 3:00pm. Dues are $3.00 per family/per month.
