As we begin another year (2005) I hope that the citizens that's in the Highland Park communities will work more closely together to weed out the problems that's holding the city back.During the past year I have posted my viewpoints here on HP FOLKS,and I will continue to do so regardless to if I stepped on someone's toes who is all mouth and no action. Our City is in bad shape we do not need anyone in our City Administration who can not handle the responsibilities. There is so many other issues that is over looked by our administration.Such as Public Housing issues,Senior Citizens concerns, and above all the education and well being of our children. The citizens see that we are being lead deeper in debt by looking at how our City Administration is divided into two groups, the Ramona Pearson group, and to service the Citizens group. In closing hopefully the people who we elected to represent us will do just that, and hopefully they will leave their personal revengeful matters out of City business.I do hope that 2005 will be a blessed year for each of you,and remember anything you read here on HP FOLKS share it with a neighbor or a friend." Happy New Years" from your Community Servant. William AkbarX (The Highland Park Movement group)
