Hi,
I'm new to the forum and to the website.
From 1953-1961 my family and I lived on Worcester Pl. (#254) across from Palmer Park, between Woodward and John R. I was only a little boy then. I am now 55. For years I have been wanting to find out what became of my neighbors and the little kids I played with when a boy. Does anyone know anything about Worcester, from that time period or now? Any info would be greatly appreciated. My father owned the John K. Orlich Funeral Home that was, for so many years, a fixture on Woodward at Nevada. The last I heard was that my old house (#254) was boarded up. I know from satellite photos of HP that some of the surrounding houses have been torn down. Anyway, I have very, very fond memories of growing up on Worcester, especially of the little girl, Theresa Carter, who lived on the same street. (She broke my heart when I was about 8 or 9 (1960-ish)!
Would really love to hear about Worcester -- old or current info. Thank you all!
---John Olrich
