I lived at 200 McLean Street from 1960 to 1966, and attended Barber Elementary and Ferris Junior High. I have fond memories of neighborhood friends, Twofee's store (with its great selection of candy), Palmer Park, and the McGregor Library, where I spent many hours browsing.

Hey Chris, I lived at 197 McLean, from 1963, untill 1984, what side of the street did you live on? Mr. grimms, or the other side? did you know Malcolm D? Or how bout Berny? |

Wow, Thomas, I never saw your reply to my post. We must have been across the street from you all. How old were you? Did you attend Barber or Ferris? Seems like I might remember you, but the old brain cells aren't as numerous as they once were. Give me a holler.

Chris, I was seven years old, when we moved in, the day President Kenndey was buried, and I was 28, when I moved out. I used to hang with Malcolm D. I live in Texas now, you still in Michigan? |
